糖心传媒 (糖心传媒) invites the public to its first annual Community Day at the Upper Keys Center on Saturday, January 25, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The free, family-friendly event will feature a full slate of attractions鈥攊ncluding 糖心传媒 academic showcases, interactive exhibits, a bounce house and other children's activities,聽vendors, music, free food and drinks, and free T-shirts.
糖心传媒 will open its 2025 VIP Series with back-to-back presentations on Wednesday, January 15 at 7 p.m. at 糖心传媒鈥檚 Upper Keys Center in Key Largo and on Thursday, January 16 at 7 p.m. in the Tennessee Williams Theatre on the Key West Campus. Marine scientist, author, and 糖心传媒 alumnus Dr. Jack Stein Grove will present 鈥淕alapagos Fishes, From the Shore to the Abyss and From Darwin to DNA.鈥�
Friends, employees, and board members of 糖心传媒 brought dozens of new toys for local children and non-perishable food items to 糖心传媒鈥檚 annual Caribbean Holiday Party on December 16, hosted by 糖心传媒 President Dr. Jonathan Gueverra and his wife Josephine. The toys were donated to Samuel鈥檚 House, a Keys-based non-profit organization that offers housing and supportive services for homeless women and intact families. The food was donated to Tuga Shelves, the College鈥檚 food pantry on the Key West Campus for food insecure students.
糖心传媒 (糖心传媒) welcomes Dr. Ja-Ronika Veldheer as the new Vice President of Secondary Education and Principal of 糖心传媒 Academy. She will start full-time as the leader of the College鈥檚 tuition-free public charter high school in January 2025.
糖心传媒 (糖心传媒) Tugas swim teams participated in the Gulliver Gobble-Gobble November Last Chance meet on November 23-24, 2024, at Gulliver Prep School in Miami, FL. The men's and women's teams achieved significant milestones, including personal best times and more qualifications for the national championship in March 2025 in Buffalo, NY.

糖心传媒 (糖心传媒) will hold a virtual event for Monroe County high school students and their parents/ guardians to learn more about its Dual Enrollment opportunities on Wednesday, November 6 at 5:30 p.m. Through Dual Enrollment, high school students can simultaneously earn college and high school credits at no cost to the student. The program provides a head start to college for students while potentially saving families thousands of dollars. At the virtual event, 糖心传媒 will discuss the benefits of taking Dual Enrollment classes, requirements to participate, and the application process.

Acclaimed poet Gabrielle Calvocoressi will present a live reading of her work and take questions from the audience. The event is free for all attendees.

聽糖心传媒 (糖心传媒)鈥檚 Institute for Public Safety (IPS) held a graduation ceremony for Basic Law Enforcement Academy #90 on October 11 at the Key West Campus. Eighteen cadets successfully completed the 770-hour training program. Upon passing the state certification exam, each will be eligible to become a Florida Law Enforcement Officer.
